Answers and ideas without leaving Discord
The /ai ask command answers questions right in the channel - with a monthly quota that comes with the plan and can be topped up in the dashboard if needed.
Depiction: the /ai ask command sends a question to the AI; the reply appears as a message whose text builds up piece by piece.
How the AI assistant works
A reply with a quota note
/ai ask answers the question right in the channel and adds the remaining quota below it, following the template "AI quota: {used}/{limit} this month".
Quota by calendar month
Every request counts against a quota tied to the current calendar period (year-month), which automatically resets to zero at the start of each month.
Topping up extra requests
Once the quota is used up, it can be topped up in the dashboard with a one-time purchase of extra requests - available on every plan except the free one, and valid until the end of the month.
Turn it on before using it
The AI module is disabled by default and has to be switched on in the dashboard; every request also carries a 15-second cooldown.
An honest message when unconfigured
If this instance has no Anthropic API key set up, the bot says so directly instead of faking a reply.
AI is unlocked from the PRO plan, with 500 requests per month - additional requests can be topped up in the dashboard.
