Roles members pick for themselves
A panel in the channel - as reactions, buttons or a select menu - lets members choose their own roles, without your team assigning each one by hand.
Depiction: clicking a panel button toggles the matching role; the member row then gets a role dot in that role's colour.
How role panels work
Three panel styles: reactions, buttons, select menu
A panel works through emoji reactions, up to 25 buttons (at most 5 per row, at most 5 rows), or a multi-select menu - the style is fixed when the panel is created in the dashboard.
A click toggles the role instantly
Clicking a button or reaction checks whether the member already has the role: if so it's removed, otherwise added - with a private confirmation like "✅ Role added: …" or "➖ Role removed: …".
Exclusive mode allows only one role
With "Exclusive" enabled, the bot automatically removes every other panel role the member already has when adding a new one - so they can only hold one of the roles at a time.
The select menu reconciles the whole state
For the select-menu style, the bot compares the chosen values against the member's current roles: missing roles are granted, deselected ones removed - "Max. selectable at once" additionally caps how many roles a member can pick at once.
Publishing replaces the old message
(Re-)publishing first deletes the previous panel message in the channel and posts it again; the stored message ID is updated so changes actually show up in the channel.
