cordavix welcome --configure

Your server's first impression, automated

Greet new members in a channel or by DM, assign roles automatically, and say goodbye when someone leaves - with real server names and mentions instead of static text.

Depiction: the channel, title and description fields set in the builder become the live preview of the welcome embed on the right.

How the welcome system works

  1. One join event runs the whole chain

The moment a member joins, the bot first checks the minimum account age, then assigns the auto roles, and only after that sends the welcome message in the channel and optionally by DM.

  2. Minimum account age as protection

With "Minimum account age (days)" set above 0 in the dashboard, the bot skips the entire welcome flow for accounts younger than that many days - 0 turns the check off.

  3. Auto roles on join

Up to ten roles configured in the dashboard are assigned automatically the moment a member joins - independent of whether the welcome message itself is enabled.

  4. Three separate messages, each with its own channel

Welcome in the chosen channel, a private DM and a farewell on leaving can each be toggled independently - each with its own text, embed and, for welcome and farewell, its own channel.

  5. Variables for text, title, description and footer

{user}, {username}, {userid}, {server}, {serverid} and {membercount} are replaced with the new member's real values in the message text, embed title, description and footer.
