Cancelling your subscription

A Cordavix subscription can be cancelled by you at any time – with no need to ask support first.

Cancelling in the dashboard

Open "Account → Billing" and select the subscription you would like to cancel. Using "Cancel", you end the subscription at the end of the currently paid term – until then, all the features of your plan remain fully available; there is no immediate lockout and no pro-rata refund for the period already under way.

What happens afterwards

Once the term expires, the affected server automatically falls back to the free tier (or to the next lowest active entitlement, if for example a manual grant is also in place). Features that were tied to the higher tier are no longer available from that point onwards; configurations you have already saved are not lost straight away, but they are no longer actively applied.

Reversing a cancellation

If you have changed your mind, you can revoke a cancellation that has already been scheduled at any time before the end of the term, in the same area – your subscription then simply continues as normal, without you having to pay again or take out a new one.

Changing your payment method instead of cancelling

If you only want to update your payment method, there is no need to cancel – you can do this directly through our payment provider's customer portal, which you can reach from the same billing area.

Refunds

Refunds are not an automatic part of a cancellation; they are reviewed by the team on a case-by-case basis. You can find more on this on the legal page about refunds, or you can get in touch with us via the contact form (category "Payment").

Multiple servers, multiple subscriptions

If you have several servers, each with its own subscription, you cancel each subscription individually – a cancellation always affects only the server it is assigned to, not automatically all of your other servers.

Deleting your account rather than your subscription

A cancellation affects only the subscription, not your Cordavix account itself. If you would like to remove your entire account, you will find the relevant steps in the guide "Deleting your account".
