Setting up the economy system
The economy module introduces a virtual server currency that members can earn through activity and spend in a configurable shop.
1. Enable the module
Enable the economy module in the "Modules" section for your server.
2. Configure the currency
In the "Economy" section you define the name and symbol of your server currency (for example "Coins" with an emoji as its symbol), as well as the rewards members receive for things like chat activity, and an optional tax on certain transactions.
3. Set up the shop
In the shop section, create items that members can buy with your server currency – such as coloured roles, temporary perks or purely cosmetic items. Every item has a price, a description and optionally a role linked to the purchase. Items can be edited, deactivated or deleted at any time.
4. Leaderboard
The coin leaderboard shows which members have accumulated the largest virtual balance – available page by page in the dashboard.
5. Manual adjustments
For compensation payments or event rewards, you can adjust the coin balance of individual members directly in the dashboard, optionally with a reason that is recorded in the log.
Important: purely a game currency
The server currency is exclusively a virtual, server-internal game currency with no connection whatsoever to real money. It cannot be exchanged for real money, paid out or transferred between servers – it exists solely for entertainment within your server.
Interaction with the Battle Pass
If the Battle Pass feature is active, missions can also include coin rewards, and conversely shop items can be designed as season-exclusive rewards.
Practical tips
- Calibrate rewards and shop prices so that a purchase feels like real
progress without members having to save up forever.
- Offer a mix of cheap and more valuable items so that new members can
enjoy a quick sense of achievement too.
- Review the leaderboard and shop turnover regularly (where visible in
the dashboard) so you can fine-tune your economy when needed.
