Enabling modules

Cordavix is deliberately built in a modular way: you only enable the features you actually want to use on your server.

Where you manage modules

Open your server in the dashboard and switch to the "Modules" section. There you will see all available modules as tiles with a name, a short description and an on/off switch.

Free and Premium modules

Some modules (basic moderation, for example) are open to every server, others are tied to a Premium tier of the server (for example advanced automations, social media notifications, White Label branding). If a module is not available on the current plan, the tile shows this clearly instead of hiding it without comment or unlocking it anyway – the permission check always takes place server-side, so a manipulated click in the browser would have no effect in any case.

Dependencies between modules

Some modules build on one another – certain automation triggers, for example, require an active level system or ticket system. If you try to enable a module whose prerequisite is missing, the dashboard tells you about it instead of leaving the module in an incomplete state.

After enabling

Immediately after you switch a module on, the matching configuration section appears in the server menu (for example "Tickets", "AutoMod", "Level system"). Most modules already work with sensible default values, but a quick check of the settings is always worthwhile – for instance to adapt log channels or permissions to your server.

Disabling modules

If you switch a module off again, the associated settings are usually retained, they are simply no longer applied. That way you can enable a module again later without having to enter the configuration all over again.

Recommendation for getting started

For most community servers it is a good idea to start by enabling moderation, welcome messages and a simple ticket system, and only then to gradually add further modules such as the level system, economy or automations – that keeps the configuration manageable.
